Not every team needs the same kind of language training. Some organisations want to test a focused programme and see quick results. Others are ready to build long-term communication habits across teams. And some need industry-specific, client-facing excellence for the people who represent them in the room.
That is why we do not sell one-size-fits-all courses. There are three structured plans, and they scale with the question you are asking.
| Plan | The question it answers | Shape |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | "Can we see impact quickly?" | 12 one-hour sessions, a focused pilot |
| Growth | "Can our team communicate confidently, every day?" | 36 one-hour sessions, a sustained habit |
| Enterprise | "Can our leaders carry our brand in high-stakes rooms?" | Scaled and tailored to your industry |
Starter: a smart first step
Starter is for companies who want to experience the Talksmiths approach and get something tangible back in a short window, without a long commitment.
It is 12 one-hour sessions, designed to be used inside a compressed period, typically 30 to 60 days, so momentum does not leak away between sessions. It suits a single learner or a small pilot group, at CEFR A2 to C1.
In practice, this is where a team gets its first taste of training that behaves like work. Sessions focus on clearer emails, more confident participation in meetings, and the language professionals need to operate comfortably in everyday business situations.
Growth: from clear to genuinely confident
Growth is for teams ready to go past the basics and make communication a performance asset rather than a hygiene factor.
It is 36 focused one-hour sessions, and it can run one-to-one or as a small group of four to six people at CEFR A2 to C1. Where Starter introduces the approach, Growth extends it into the situations that actually decide things:
- Real business scenarios: meetings, reports and presentations
- Team communication: alignment, status updates, cross-functional collaboration
- Negotiation and influence: framing an idea, handling objections, building buy-in
- Applied case studies: adapted to your workplace and your industry
This plan works especially well for teams who already use English every day but do not yet feel fully themselves in it. It helps professionals think clearly and speak clearly, without losing authority or nuance when they switch languages, the gap we unpack in Fluency is not the finish line.
The shift Growth is designed to produce
Month one
“I think maybe we should consider changing the timeline, because it could be difficult to meet the deadline.”
Correct English. The listener still has to work out what is being asked.
Month six
“We need to extend the timeline by one week to protect quality. I'll confirm the revised plan on Thursday.”
Same speaker, same vocabulary range. The difference is structure and intent, and both are trainable.
Enterprise: industry-specific communication for leaders
Enterprise is the most comprehensive option, for organisations that need high-level, industry-specific communication across regions, markets and stakeholders. It is scaled to the organisation rather than sold as a fixed block, and it runs over a longer horizon because the people it serves have diaries that require one.
Enterprise training goes beyond internal communication. It sharpens how your people represent your brand in:
- Client meetings and product demos
- Stakeholder and board presentations
- Cross-border negotiations and partnerships
- Academic, technical or expert settings where credibility is the currency
Because the programme is built around your industry, roles and real scenarios, participants train on the language, contexts and challenges they meet every week. Enterprise fits organisations that treat communication as a strategic capability rather than a nice-to-have, and it comes with the measurement discipline described in What's the ROI of business language training?.
Choosing between them
The cleanest way to decide is to finish the sentence out loud:
- 1
"We want to try Talksmiths and see impact quickly."
Starter. A contained pilot with a visible outcome, and enough signal to decide what comes next.
- 2
"We want our team communicating clearly and confidently in daily business contexts."
Growth. Long enough to change habits rather than raise awareness of them.
- 3
"We need industry-specific, high-stakes training for leaders and client-facing teams."
Enterprise. Built around your sector, your stakeholders and your calendar.
What to take away
- Pick the plan that matches the question you are being asked internally, not the one that matches your budget ceiling.
- Starter exists to produce evidence. Treat it as a pilot with a defined success measure, not a taster.
- Growth is where habits change, because habits need more contact time than awareness does.
- Enterprise is worth it when communication is client-facing, when the audience is buying your credibility as well as your product.
